Boris Pinkhasovich

Russian-Austrian baritone Boris Pinkhasovich received his musical training in conducting and singing at the St. Petersburg Conservatory. Today, he is one of the most sought-after singers of his generation and regularly performs at the world's most prestigious opera houses and festivals, including the Metropolitan Opera in New York, La Scala in Milan, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Vienna State Opera, the Bavarian State Opera, the Paris Opera, the Zurich Opera House, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Salzburg Festival, the Easter Festival in Baden-Baden, and the Berlin Philharmonic. 

He received special recognition in 2023 when he was awarded the Austrian Music Theater Prize for his highly acclaimed interpretation of Prince Yeletsky (The Queen of Spades) at the Vienna State Opera. In 2025/26, he will sing Eugen Onegin in a new production at the Paris Opera, Germont (La traviata) and Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor) at La Scala in Milan, Count Luna (Il trovatore) at the Hamburg State Opera, Renato (Un ballo in maschera) at the Berlin State Opera, again Eugen Onegin and Robert (Iolanta) at the Vienna State Opera, and Valentin at the Munich Opera Festival.
