Eric Tamm
A native of San Francisco, Eric Tamm began his dance training in tap and jazz before starting ballet at the age of 14 at the Irine Fokine School of Ballet in New Jersey. He joined the American Ballet Theatre Studio Company in 2004 and was promoted to the American Ballet Theatre in 2007. His repertoire with the company included Second Sailor in Jerome Robbinsʼ Fancy Free, Des Grieux in John Neumeierʼs Lady of the Camellias, the Nutcracker Prince in Alexei Ratmansky’s The Nutcracker, Paris in Kenneth MacMillanʼs Romeo and Juliet, as well as principal roles in George Balanchine’s Ballo della Regina, Duo Concertant and Symphony in C. Eric Tamm retired from ABT in 2024, and became a senior faculty member at the ABT Gillespie School in California. He is a certified teacher under the ABT National Training Curriculum.
